Last Years Rank - 40

MGS2, or as some like to call it, the bastard child of the Metal Gear franchise, works it's way up 11 spots from last year due to me finally playing Metal Gear Solid 3. Just thinking back on this game, I can't help but remember just how awesome it really was. The graphics were like the first time I thought "next gen" for the PS2 and the story, while contrived and sometimes silly, was still deep and made you keep wanting to play. Though you get pretty screwed after the best part of the game, aka, the Boat Level and playing as Solid Snake, controlling Raiden wasn't THAT bad. The voice acting and artistic style this game has just makes it a classic for me.
