This game is just flat out amazing. This is why it's all the way up to #3 only a year after its release. Resident Evil 4 was such a drastic change from the previous RE games that a lot of people were appalled by this decision. I thought it was a great direction they went in and it paid off huge. This is easily the best looking GameCube ever created hands down. Capcom took great care in the texture and lighting work from start to finish and it really shows. The modeling is also top notch and the context sensitive animations were great. This 20 hour experience was a joy from start to end for me and I'll probably play through it again in a few years. Another great innovation was the interactive cut scenes where you had to be quick on the trigger to get out of tough situations or make a split decision on what to do. The knife fight was f'n rad!
