I bet you were wondering when a Street Figher game was going to appear on my list, well here it is, allllllll the way at #3. This was probably the toughest choice for me to make, but it wasn't where to put it on my list, it was which version of this game was going to get put on there. Originally, this spot was taken by Super Street Fighter 2, the one that appeared on the SNES and brought in 4 new fighters, Cammy, Fei Long, DJ, and T. Hawk, but then I remembered they all appeared in Alpha 3 along with many more fighters as well as more fluid gameplay, so here we are. The best 2D fighting game of all time in my opinion, SFA3 had it all, a great line up of characters, awesome animations, easy controls, and best of all it hadn't gotten ridiculously cheesey and hard yet. I understood what the A-ism's and Z-ism's did in this game, but all these newer ones have me so confused that I'm not dealing with it. Just let me pull off a super Hydo-Ken and call it a day. |
