FINISH HIM!!! Ah, good ol Mortal Kombat 2, the bane and frustration for politicians and parents alike. When this game was released in the arcades back when I was in 6th grade, it was like a phenominon for all the boys at my school. Everyone was playing it and talking about it. Whenever we had parties at Skate World, where was everyone, that's right, at the MK2 machine feeding it quarters and getting their asses kicked by the guys who had no lives and lived at the skate park playing it all day. But when it hit the Super Nintendo some months later, it was over. I was playing this thing every day with my friend (who was incredibly cheap at the game, YOU know you are!) for hours upon hours till I had to go home. This is one of the few fighting games that I knew all the moves for for almost every character and studied (yes studied) strategy guides on how to win. Man, this game was sweet. |
