Finally, and X-Men game that doesn't suck! X-Men Legends is what the fanboy/comicbook geek in me has always wanted in an X-Men game, and Ravensoft delivered with an incredible and actually GOOD game. I can't believe how much fun I had with this title, eventhough it can get really cheap and unfair sometimes. Getting to mix and match from 14 different X-Men all with their trademark mutant powers and just wreaking havok on anything that moved made this game insanely fun. My team usually always had Wolverine, Cyclops, Iceman, and Colossus with the occasional swap out for Storm or Jean Grey, but I did play around with all the characters. In fact, I kinda wished it forced you to swap your characters more so you wouldn't get content with just using the same guys over and over again. Of course, the story didn't hurt either as it was written by actual writers from Marvel Comics so it made sense and had some great dialogue and interactions between the X-Men. I can't wait for the sequel to this game and it'll probably be joining this game on my list when it comes out. |
