Surprise surprise, a SOCOM game in my list. Regardless of the fact that I work for the company who made this game, SOCOM 2 was a sweet game even before I joined Zipper. I would watch my friend play SOCOM 1 online a bunch and always thought it looked cool as hell, but it wasn't until I got SOCOM 2 and my own PS2 when I realized just how addicting this game can be. Forget the single player (which ain't too shabby by itself), the multiplayer is where this game is at. With around 30,000 people always online, it's the #1 online shooter for the PS2 and even beats out most PC titles. Using the headset to communicate with your teammates, SOCOM 2 makes you utilize stealth and strategy over run and gun. Joining a clan and and playing with your buds online is more fun than a ton of games out there and the trash talking makes it even more enjoyable.
