8. X-Wing/B-Wing/TIE Fighter (PC)

The pinnacle of all Star Wars games for me, X-Wing was my Ace Combat, MS Flight Simulator, yadda yadda yadda. Flying an X-Wing, Y-Wing, or A-Wing, you were apart of the Rebel Alliance doing tours of duty to crush the Empire. And what's great about it, is that you actually FELT like you were doing this. The missions in this game were genious. They started out very easy with just some reconissance and ID'ing of targets, but you eventually moved on to guarding medical frigates from TIE Fighter assaults to even taking on Star Destroyers themsevles. But what made this game feel so great, was that it WAS hard, and more real than all the other console Star Wars games. Destroying a Star Destroyer by yourself was next to impossible in this game, as was the last Death Star mission, but I never felt cheated or mad about it. Also, some missions would take hours to do because you had to just sit around waiting for ships to arrive or take it slow so not to be detected. When the expansion packs B-Wing and TIE Fighter came out, it made the game even more fun. Getting to fly as the imperials was great and getting to use all the cool new TIE fighters which weren't in the movies was an added bonus. I really wish they would remake this game with updated graphics and online play, it would rock!
